We just returned from 6 nights at Ash cottage. It was a perfect base for touring and walking in the Brecon Beacons. The cottage was well equipped and comfortable for 3 of us. The one oddity is that to access the second bedroom you had to pass thru the bathroom. The location was ideal. The village was pretty, with 2 pubs within walking distance. There was also the canal and lock and the beautiful Usk river.

Ash Cottage has everything you need for a relaxing stay in the Brecon Beacons. The cottage is fully equiped and is perfect for you if you have dogs as there are flagstone floors for those muddy paws after a days walking and it has a great little enclosed garden.
Walks from the doorstep onto the Beacons or take a walk along the canal and have lunch in Crickhowell.
Two great village pubs, the locals are very welcoming.
Will definately be making a return visit.
